Ive used them for the last 10 yrs on my F150 with zero problems other than they are noisier than a tire with a less agressive tread . Since you do a lot of hwy driving , if the noise is a concern for you , maybe a tire with more of a light truck / Suv design would be better ? I like Michelin tires , but you will pay more for them . The Bfg A/T's Ive used have all delivered long wear , no problem to get 50K miles from them .
First of all - if you are thinking that you will recieve new tires from firestone you are wrong. The size (and the only size of the wilderness AT tire) is the P235/75-15 from the illonois plant. The dot code will be "VDHL" I was fortunate enough to get my worn out firestones replaced for free with brand new BFGoodrich Radial Long Trail T/A's. ANd so far they are a great tire that are responsive with less road noise than the wilderness tires.
