3-wire or 5-wire power door locks?
I have a '96 Bronco I'm installing an alarm on and need to know if the power door lock system is a 3-wire positive, 3-wire negative or 5-wire system - would like to know before I tear into it. Anyone know? Thanks in advance

I'm gettin ready to do the same thing to my 94. Some good sites are www.th12volt.com and www.bulldogsecurity.com. They have wiring diagrams and everything. If you have the factory keyless you are gonna need some relays and a whole bunch of wiring. Autozone has the relays in the auxilary lighting section for like 4 bucks. Btw you can get a window module and another relay and wire your tailgate window too.

www.12volt.com is an EXCELLENT site. I used them for wiring diagrams for my keyless entry and remote start.
And yes it is a 5 wire. Requires 2 relays for keyless entry.
