Blinking overdrive light (*off*) on shifter???

Blinking overdrive light (*off*) on shifter???
HI guys, on my shifter, the overdrive light that tells you when it's off is flashing. it takes a few minutes after the truck is running and it starts flashing, what's with this? could my new Tranny be going out already, just replaced it yesterday.... Thanx for the help guys

This is usually the solinoid that causes this problem, if you have checked the fluid level and all those things. If you had it replaced I would check with who ever put it in. If it is a used one then I would start with the shift solinoid.
