Yeah i'm in no big hurry about them springs cutts, i wouldn't be able to use them till the end of may, and there is also a couple big swap meets i'm going to as well that i might pick a set up at.
aight.... i still gotta pull my front springs but there has been a glitch in my plans due to my sister being in the hositpal. hopefully i can get back to work on it next week! then i will better know what i am gonna do with them.
so.... in order to bring this thread to a close i gather that the only drawbacks will be an extra driveshaft and 2 more u-joints! i can keep the linkages from binding, i am gonna order some of those strong but small heims from summit and swap my shift rails over to the divorced case and use my existing 205 as my 'doubler' and the divorced case as my primary one!
thanx for all the insight, i am gonna try it and i will let you guys know how it goes!
Yea... I like the thought Fishy... and you are right... $650 or so for the ORD Doubler.. isn't cheap... but it is everything you need to bolt up a 203 range box to the 205. It is stronger and cheaper than the Atlas xfer case and has the ablitity as you know for 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 ratios...
I have seen some people weld up their own adapters between the 203-205... personally when I get home and start building my beast I am gonna spend the $ and get the ORD kit...
