Engine grounding kits do not enhance performance. What they do is provide better grounding paths. The theory is that becuase they are lower resistance, you will get a more powerful spark, and the loads on electrical systems will be reduced. The truth is, the spark is already more than powerful enough to do the job well, and the loads on the electrical systems will be vitually unchanged. What engine grounding kits do help with, is the improve the batteries ability to charge quickly, and they reduce electrical noise. These are very nice features for a high end sound system. If engine grounding kits do provide any sort of engine improvement, it would only be on high performance engines, that need major current flow for their ignition systems. High performance engines use very high octane fuel, and as a result need a hotter spark, and they need to produce this hotter spark at very high rpms. This same situation in a stock engine would cause knocking and pinging.
