found a oil leak coming from that drian hole on top of engine in back on passenger side
its not coming from vavle covers so i would think that it is the turbo pedistal
leaking no oil on the waste gate eithier

went for a drive blue smoke is getting werser it is starting to blow blue smoke all the time now and i noticed oil on the end of tail pipe. OUCH ![/QUOTE]
okay so i started removing thing to replace the injector o-rings and turbo pedistall o-ring when i got the turbo out i was looking it over and noticed i coud move the intake impeller up and down and side to side about a 1/16 to1/8 " is this normal or are my turbo bearings shot
anyone know whats up
if they are bad whats the best way to go new turbo or rebuild kit
Bearings are shot, you should not have that much play in your turbo impeller. Might as well go ahead and spend a little extra and get an upgrade instead of just rebuilding what you have.
Yeah , I've got my brand new turbo sitting on the table infront of me and there is ssome slight movement in the in tak wheel but not to much, how dose your wheel look?
