77 460 carb/intake vs 84, HELP HELP!

I need help! HELP HELP HELP! 1: will an intake/carb from the 77 460 in an F250 bolt up to my 84 460 F250? 2: Which is a better combo?

Yes and they should be pretty much the same.

Yes means, yes it will bolt up. It will run as good as it did before. Something better in my opinion would be a shiny new Weiand Stealth with a Holley 750 on top.

If I'm getting what you are asking the answer is, there should be no difference in the two. They should be practically, if not altogether, identical. No reason to change unless one is cracked or broken, something like that.

the differences

The intake from the 77 is noticably a taller intake. and the 84 is a holley carb, not motorcraft.

Save your pennies for a Performer or a Stealth and an Edelbrock or holley carb.....

like the other guy said, you wont see any difference, I would imagine the EGR and emissions stuff may be a little different
