Hooked up my trailer today and there were no lights. The brake controller is indicating it is connected, but no running, brake and turn lights. I do not have a manual, but I was told to check fuse #6, but it is ok. Is there another set of fuse for the trailer wiring?
theres a fuse under the hood for the trailer lamp relay, cant remember which one it is at the moment.....the fuse is inder the hood.....ill grab the book and look
#4 under the hood is the marker lamp fuse. the relay is one of the relays in the 2 relay box. should be the one thats on the same side as the rest of the relays in the other box
Checked fuse #6 and it is good, but fuse #13 under the hood is blown. It shows visually and with a VOM. Thanks, you guys just saved me a trip to the repair shop and more than a bit of change!
Thanks Again,

P.S. some time ago I went to buy a Clymers (had one for my '93 non-turboed 7.3 F-250) and could not find one. Where can I get a good manual for my '99 PSD F-250, if one is available?
OK, the marker lights now work, but not the brake and signal lights. Could it be a relay? I checked voltage at the flat electrical trailer that is stored under the bumper, and it has no voltage except for the marker lights.
Under the Hood:
#1 & #3 are your right and left tow trailer stop and turn signals
#4 = trailer tow backup lamps, trailer tow park lamps
#8 = trailer tow electronic brake illumination, Park lamps trailer tow park lamp relay coil.
#16 = trailer tow battery charge
#28 = trailer tow electronic brake controller
#38 = trailer tow backup lamp relay
#39 = trailer tow battery charge relay
That's all I can find.

Chips.....you still may have a problem. Something shorted enough to sink over 7 amps. I guess you would know if anyone shorted the system out. If not, I'd be looking at the points where the wiring terminates in the truck and the trailer. In the back of connector blocks.....that sort of thing.....also open insulation on the pigtail of the trailer.
