**** inserts?

Anyone sell just the **** inserts? It's seems to me, usually the **** is in good condition, it's just the white insert is either gone or or cracked. I'd buy about ten just to have a few spares!

Havn't found a vendor to sell only inserts; aren't they seal to well; only found complete *****; some hard to repalce compare to others; really looks good to have them all the same shade of white thought....

I wish there was a source for them as well... if someone is manufacturing the ***** surely they could sell the inserts separately.

Yeah, that would be better to be able to get just inserts. Mine have just started disintegrating the past few weeks. Probably not worth it to the vendor to list them separately. I doubt they would fetch very much dough.

Do the new ***** come with inserts? I just got real lucky yesterday and found some old trucks with ***** and inserts. Needless to say I grabbed every one I could pry loose. I broke a few as I had only a screwdriver tip to do the job. The coolest one is for the heater **** and actually has HEAT spelled in black letters. A very big improvement. I still need one more. It would be nice if somebody sold them.

Even at 5$ for 5, that would be a bargain for me. Otherwise I'm going to have to scour junkyards and snag everything I see (which I've done), or buy a bunch of glovebox ***** (I think they're the cheapest) and remove the inserts from them.

I like the dimes idea as well. You could get dimes from the same year as the truck!

I was kicking around gluing cat's eye marbles in mine. My only insert is the heater **** too.

Have you thought of making your own out of plexi glass and painting them? I kinda like the dime idea *first time I've heard of it* anyone got pics of that?

Shoot you could even get some rubber paint it and stuff it in.

I have used a material i purchased at Lowes The flexible shower stall liner material, It is about 1/16" thick, cuts nicely and pops in.

I cut them slightly oversize, pushed them into the **** and it made them slightly concave. the material has just enough give.

Smooth on on side and grainy on the other.

Ringo

I was able to log back in???? could not for over a week. I installed a new program into the infernal machiene as a piggyback to an upgrade. Since then no problems. I even tried on other machienes, but no go.
