D8VE heads

anything speical about these, good or bad?I know about the "hood" anything else I should do to them while they are out beside a vavle job?
Did a search but way too many pages to read.

They are just a later casting and a revision of the D3VE's

By far their biggest liability is the exhaust port.

Just addressing that and a mild bowl blend on the intake side will afford an 8 to 10% increase in fuel economy and some 25 to 40 RWHP even in a stock application.
