Torqshift transmission service question

Next week I have my truck booked in for some work and was planning to have the tranny service done. If I can recall from a while back, someone told me the filter doesn't get changed, just flushed. Is this correct?

The inline/remote filter (close to the rad support/frame rail, passenger side) will get replaced, the filter in the pan won't, unless you request it to be done at additional cost.. It's not unusual for the pan/filter to not be serviced if the mileage is relitively low during a normal service/flush. Either at the dealer, or some of the independant shops.. My personal feeling/practice is to do them all.. Just my preference........

I FOUGHT with my stealership to MAKE them change my in the pan filter at 30K. Told them that flush was just junk and I wanted it ALL changed (after all It's MY money). I could tell a definite difference when they got done--had that "new" crispness. It's a little more money for sure, but............cheap insurance in my maintenance book.
