vibration new 2005

Has anyone else had vibration problems with new 2005 f250 4x4 at 40-55mph. Now 1000 miles and no change. Dealer changed out tires and now wait for a new driveshaft. My truck can't be the only one??

I have them at all speeds and feel it though the floorpan and gas peddle.Dealer tech said he could not feel them.Been doing this from day one.Its so bad it will put your foot to sleep. I told him I will be back after the "break in period".I think this is BS for a 36000$ truck. 2005 F250 SC 4x4 6 speed V8 gas.

Only does it when when your on the gas cant feel it coasting

You might want to try a flowmaster muffler. On my 1999 the dealer tried everything including getting Ford to send one of their techs no luck. Then I read that it was a harmonic exhaust that caused the vibrations. Dealer ordered the flowmaster muffler changed it out and the vibration was gone. Hope this helps.

I went to dealer with one missing outer wheel weight and complaint of shimmy between 30 and 50 mph. Steering linkage tighted per TSB but statement that "experienced" mechanic did not believe balancing was needed. Reminded me that this is a 4x4 truck. I then went to Sears and had all wheels balanced for about $60. Pre out-of-balances confirmed (6 of 8 weights were wrong bigtime). Afterwards, I now have a smooth ride with 55 psig in tires. Whether I get Ford to reimburse or not, it was a cheap fix and I am happy at 5900 miles. '05 SD CC SB w/ 6.0 but same would apply to any truck.
