Coleman Generators

My huntin buddy just bought a Coleman Powermate 5000 watt generator with a birggs and stratton motor. I was just checkin it out, since we are gonna take it hog huntin this weekend, but i noticed it had 2 oil dipsticks. both go to the same place, both have a dipstick on the cap, can't figure out why they would put 2 on it. anyone know why?

Some people mount them semi-permanent, and depending on how it's mounted, you might not be able to reach it easily. Just for convenience.
