I've always prefered a woman with a little meat on her bones and one that could stand on her own when hunting or camping or whatever .
Was never into snapping the sheets before climbing into bed to make sure my partner was there .
Today's models are geared for the fashion industry to display all those products on the runway that I'm still trying to figure out who buys them for real .
You never see them any place but the run way , not even in Paris .
Hollywood does also supply it's share of full figured Gals as it always has .
I'll pass on the bone racks though and think the trend should hover around 5' 6"and 130lb . The condition is what makes the difference .
Lest you young guys forget though , you can't judge a book by the cover and many a good tune has been played on an old fiddle . The heavy ones try harder and they all need loving .
Hello to all.... just registered and happened upon this thread. I had the great misfortune of being TOO curious about what men think about skinny! Although it was really interesting, I fear I now have a complex! LOL Kidding aside, I am one of those skinny women. But it doesn't stop there.... there's the muscle and veins too! LOL I guess now I know why I remain single and my heavier counterparts are married! LOL Well, in any event, I enjoyed the reading.
Welcome to FTE. I believe there is a perfect match for everyone out there. You just have not found him yet. Be patient. Be yourself, and he will come along.
What we want and what we get doesn't always match, either.
Jessica Simpson in "The Dukes of Hazzard" is SMOKIN hot IMO, but my wife does not resemble her in any way, shape, or form.
But I have to live with her the rest of my life, so I need a girl I can talk to, too. She knows that chickens don't live under the sea.
There is a range I call "perfect", it's not uber-skinny, and it's not obese. My current attraction is 5'7 and probably weighs in around 140. In my book she's perfect. I know several young women that think they're fat. They aren't, but won't listen to me. They're boyfriends all tell them they're fat... So they have a complex.
Of course that's considered shallow! Negative reinforcement of a negative self image. It makes the girl think there's something wrong with her (whether real or imagined) and if she tries to make it right by losing weight but still encounters his negative opinions, she'll likely take it a step further. Either that or she'll give up and eat out of frustration.
A friend of mine thinks this way... she's GORGEOUS!!! Perfect body, perfect curves... she looks better than the entire line-up of Victoria's Secret models. Her boyfriend (all of her past boyfriends too) put her down and tell her what to do. I guess he told her she's too fat because she's heavier than him (he's one of those twiggy red-head's with freckles and 2% bodyfat... shorter (and younger) than her too) and so now she's on this mission to lose weight. She was actually turned away from GNC... they wouldn't sell her any weight loss drugs because they said if she lost 10 lbs. like she aims to, she'd be unhealthy. We can't convince her how great she looks so we're hoping he'll fall off the face of the planet.
I like women with meat on their bones. Women need more fat percentage wise than men for their health and proper monthly cycle. These rail thin models end up with health problems. And dead.
This, "You have to look like these ultra-thin models" attitude promoted by the fashion industry is a big pile of bulls$$t! Being over-weight is also unhealthy but looking like Miss Hickory is not cutting it. Besides, no one buys the clothes those models promote anyway.
You ladies develop a good healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive attitude toward yourselves. And teach your daughters the same. Don't spend your life with your head stuck in a toilet. And if the fashion industry doesn't like the idea of you having some meat on your bones, well, you tell them to kiss it where you can't! Too many girls grow up believing they have to look like Twiggy and some of those girls are dying. You just be happy being you and don't let the corrupt corporate world tell you what to do, buy or be.
I dont like women who are super skinny. I like 'em with a little meat on their bones and I like decent sized ***** too. (big Cs are nice) When a woman has a flatter chest than I do, thats just not sexy.

Thats mean. Unless your woman is really overweight, you shouldt tell her that she is fat. If she is your g/f you should love her and treat her right, that means when she asks how she looks, you smile and say, "honey, you look beautifull."
Some guys dont deserve the love of a good woman...

Well my GF is 5'2 and 105lbs. And I'm 6'2 and a bit and 245-250.
She's about perfect. Not too skinny, just about right. Nice stomach.
Now that's about what they should be.
I can't stand twigs, but i can't stand chicks with guts either. Call me shallow, but it's me. Most of the girls i know fall into the "Perfect" catagory meaning not too skinny about what nature intended.
My bud's GF is about 5'8 and around 115. She's smokin hot. Not too skinny either
I agree its all hollywood, if you like that skin and bones look, theres got to be something wrong with you, they look like you should take them to the hospital not on a date. sad that girls think they have to copy such a sick trend
I like a girl with a little weight on her, something to put my arms around. Nothing worse then putting you arms around you girl and you feel like your hugging a small tree. But I digress, I'm just happy to be single right now.
I don't know of any guys that think the twig thing is hot. I'm not into the overly obese, and I'm not into a chick being super skinny either. I like what is considered "average". They can be a little bit on the heavy side, but they have to be able to pull it off. Ever seen "Boy Meets World"? I think Topanga on there is smokin'. She's not skinny either, her weight fluxuates on there, but she's always hot.
