I've been searching the web for a 2004 E350 ext. cargo van with V10, but haven't had much luck finding one here in northern California. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
I just answered the same question - I was looking everywhere for the seemingly odd combination of a low mileage late model E-350 Club Wagon with a V-10 and the 12 passenger body. I tried E-Bay Motors (www.ebaymotors.com) which was good, and had trucks all over the country. I looked at trucks from NY to NC. I also looked, and finally found one on Auto Trader (www.autotrader.com). Because I was looking for a seemingly uncommon truck, it took a while. You should have it easier, as panel vans are relatively easy to come by.
Good used Econolines are hard to find. I took about 6 months to find one back in 1992 and decided to replace it just a few months ago. It took about a month looking on used car lots and online. I found a 2003 E350 12 passenger with v10 on Autobytel.com. It was located in Roseville, CA at Enterprise rent a car. I would have preferred a cargo van but I didn't find even one that sounded good enough to go look at. If you can use a van with windows the 15 passenger vans are all over the place, lots of them with v10's. I stripped out the extra seats and seat belts in mine and I will be putting dark film on all the rear windows.
I recently found low mileage 2004 12 passenger E-350s with 5.4s all over the internet, but I was looking in the southeast. THre were some cargo vans too, but I don't know how many were V10 instead of V8. I'm pretty sure they were all lease turn-ins from a rental car company and they flooded the market for a short period right before Thanksgiving. I found the one I bought at a dealer 100 miles away with > 15K miles and well below $20K.
