It sounds like you have the west coast mirrors. i have jr west coast setup on mine. It came factory installed. check your local junkyards and want adds for a set. they give a good view behind but only stick out about 3-4" from the side of the truck and are foldable.

I've verified that they are west coast mirrors.

Redhawk - These Jr. West coast mirrors that you're talking about, do they mount in the same three spots as my west coast mirrors? In other words, would I being able to save myself from filling these holes?

Just out of curiosity, why are they called "West Coast?"

If you flip the 90 degree brackets that mount on the tube clamp and mirror, the outer edge of the mirror will stick out less than 1" beyond the body trim. If you can back down a driveway with only 2 inches clearance your a better driver than me, go for it.

I wish I knew wjhy they called them west coast mirrors. It may have only been an option on vehicles going to the west coast when they were introduced. The top bracket should mount in the same holes. The bottom mount may not. The forward brace mount holes will need to be filled in because the JR west coast mirrors don't have the brace and are foldable.

I believe they are called West Coast mirrors because they were used on huge West Coast (OR etc.) logging trucks so they could see past their loads.

The regular 6x9 mirrors seem to look best on a truck to me. For clearance problems you could get the smaller ones found on a BII and fold back the pass. side when parking in the driveway.

The problem is your truck itself is 79-80 inches wide and that leaves you 4-5 inches to stick out for a mirror for both sides. I have not seen them for a long time, but, you use to be able to buy West Coast and WC Jr. mirrors that were electric so you could fold the mirror part (not arm) flush to make it by objects.
