Tranny has been stored on property for past few years. Believe to be a C6, has PN of PGB-AC9. Since the owner does not seem interested or have another place to store it, thought would offer to purchase as a package with the 351W engine. Not familiar with the C6, wonder if should make offer to use as either a core, or have the tranny rebuilt. Not familiar with availablility of the C6 whether thru salvage yards, or remanufacturer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A c6 will not have a removable bell housing. It's all 1 piece, except for the tail housing. I would only act interested in the motor, odds are he'll throw the trans in on the deal if he just wants rid of it.
