Gasket replacement procedure for removable top?
Hey ya'll. I searched but couldn't find the specific question or any pics. I recently got replacement gaskets for the front and sides that go under the fiberglass top for my '93 XLT. (Mine are shot) First question is how do they fasten to the metal? They all have a dried creamed colored glue on the bottoms and no tabs of any kind. Any help is appreciated. Thanks--Buzz

To the best of my knowledge, the glue is the SOP for securing these gaskets to the top. Not sure of the actual type of adhesive but obviously something that will not harden or destroy the rubber in the gaskets.
