Smile 1970 f100 upgades

I am brand new to this board I have a 1970 F100 long box with a 302. I am restoring the truck to be able to tow my Boss 302. I would liek to upgrade the steering, brakes and suspension. I have drum brakes all round and woulds like disc brakes. I have armstrong steering and would like power rack or jsut rack. There must be new better suspension stuff for the truck. WOuld any of you guys have suggestions that woudl help me?

i went to a company called performancesuspension and got a complete polyurethane rebuild kit for the front end with graphite impregnated bushings and cups. it came with tie rod ends, drag link, king pins and all. the kit was shipped to the door for 219.

I just picked up my new '70 F100 last Friday. Has granada front disc, Mustang 2 front suspension, rack and pinion, lincoln axle/disc/calipers in rear. Steers great, but working to fix pulling brakes. Looking for replacement hoses in rear. Need to properly adjust proportioning valve too. Will let you know how it goes after it's fixed. Seems to be a nice set up though.

the weight of the car it came from was 5500 lbs. a bit more than what the truck weighs, and has four coil over shocks. it should do the job. just wanted something different.

thanks, i appreciate that. long way to go though.but its gettin there. good luck with yours. these trucks are just starting to get noticed lately. they have a lot of potential and still have parts easily available. by the way, i did that rear end set up for around 500 bucks. imagination can go a long way with the wallet.
