JET Modules

I have a 1986 F-150 ext cab, 5.0 EFI, 4x4, auto. I'm thinking about Jet Module. Anybody had any experience with them? How much trouble are they to install? Any info would be helpful.

I have a '93 f-150 with 5.0 and E4OD tranny.A few yrs back I tried the JET chip.I did notice a little difference,the only problem was the first chip only lasted a month before I started having drivability problems.I sent it back and got another one to replace it.I installed it and this one only lasted a week.Truck just quit running and wouln't start and this happened right in the middle of morning traffic.Talk about a major pain in the ****.To top all this off the customer service rep was pretty much an ##### towards me.Saying I had a problem with my truck and that I probably installed it wrong and all this crap.Well funny thing was when the chips weren't in my truck it ran fine.With the chip in,truck ran like crap or wouldn't run at all.I opinion was they had a programing problem and weren't willing to admit it.Hell originally they even sent me the wrong year chip for my truck.So I quess that should've told me something there.Oh well at least it didn't damage anything electrically on my truck.Hope this helps.Go with the superchip.Talked to Danny about one for my truck and he seems very knowledgeable and was really cool to talk with.Later,Cleve
