Front hubs

I am changing the hubs on my girlfriends truck from auto ( they look like a hand granade went off in there. to manuals. The front axle is a dana 50. I bought the required adapter kit and my auestion is where do I get a wrench for the spindle nut. it is about 1.5 inches round with only one notch in it for a wrench. The new ones are no problem they have the normal 4 notches and are larger. Any help appreciated.

Stick a flat screwdriver in there and lightly wedge it between the notch and the hub side and then spin the rotor. It shouldn't be that tight.

All we ever used to use was a drift and small ball peen hammer. I have a spindle nut socket/spanner that I bought at Autozone. If you use the drift/hammer method use care. It's not that hard, though.
