"..creates more horsepower and extends oil change intervals from 3000 to 7000 miles... Average HP gains are 5-6. In addition, with the engine running more efficient, you should see an average increase of 1-2 MPG."
Let's see, I can buy 47 through away filters, for the price of one of these, and that doesn't include whatever it takes to clean the filter. I think I wil stay with MC filters.
I may be wrong, but I think their "more horsepower" claim is tied to the larger mesh size in the filter... = less back pressure on the oil pump and requireing less parasitic power to turn the oil pump.
I have done some research on the products that claim to increase MPG and HP. I have determined that if I install all of them I will have to take gas out of my tank and will have the HP of a railroad locomotive. With all the gas I recover from the tank I should be able to pay off in no time the $52,000 that I spent on all these products. Sounds like a no brainer, right. ("no brainer" is surely right)

Maybe it's that the larger particles wear down the engine, make it looser, and decrease frictional losses that way?
