power door lock 99 explorer
The power door lock/unlock switch will not work the locks on Driver's door.
It did for a while.
I took it apart twice.
First time I had power to one of 5 wires (at that time, the unlock was still working).
The second time that I took it apart, I checked with volt meter. There was no power going to any of the -5- wires going to the door lock switch (at that time, lock and unlock were not working on the switch).
All doors will lock and unlock using the passenger switch, the keypad, and the remote switch.
I've looked at electrical diagrams, and think that it may be "driver's door lock / unlock relay". This is supposed to be over the rear driver's wheel well in the compartment in the cargo area.
Anyone have this problem? Shed some light?
