What exactly is droan? My new 05 is making a wineing noise (when cold) In low gear, low RPM`s.

 

The droan is an exhaust harmonic vibration. Your noise sounds more like the power steering pump, a hallmark Ford truck noise in cold weather for decades. If that's what it is, sometimes it's just low on fluid or sometimes swapping the fluid for new stuff or adding one of various additives will minimize it. Or not. It's Mercon ATF that goes in there, by the way.
