What's your daily driver?

My daily drivers have been Explorers or something with 4 wheel drive. I recently traded for a Ford 500. It rides and handles great. It just dawned on me that we compare our Effies ride and handleing to what we drive every day. I've always bragged that my '53 has a car like ride. The car I was compareing it to was a Explorer. I've seen posts where someone is trying to improve their ride or handleing and they have the same setup as me, and I think, it rides great, leave it alone. I just want to see what everybody is compareing their Effies too. I don't care what brand or even what country it's made in. What's your daily driver?

I drive my 56 F-100 every day to work, if its warm and dry (not very often around here) I ride a 1973 Harley Davidson. My 56 has a stock body and stock suspension and a 302 from 73. It drives like an old truck and I love it!

The Excursion is the driver but I gotta tell ya...hopping into the Effie with no P/s, P/B, A/C, P/W, tilt, cruise, leather, etc. etc. is a little like running around naked with a diaper on...

is that good or bad?

My 56 is my daily driver. I only drive the Eldo if others need a ride or if it's raining (because the 56 is still in primer). That's why I bought "Roscoe"--to drive it!

My F1 is my daily driver when it's not raining here in Seattle LOL. With it's stock 4:27 gears the rear tire just spins on the wet surface and I have trouble getting it up to speed. I'm afraid some of these hotrod ricers will ram into me they drive like maniacs up here.

1995 Jeep Wrangler, doesn't take much to improve upon the ride. I can feel every piece of dirt on the road.

Bad weather usually a 97 Dakota 4wd club cab.
Otherwise, a 95 Cadillac Fleetwood, which is an Impala SS in a tuxedo.

My Dailies are:
2002 VUE, if snowy ( rides like c**p)
1998 F150 4.2 5spd, if dry ( trying to be a Taurus,no heat,but great on gas,will dump when I finish the 56.)
1950 Belair Hardtop,on weekends/car shows ( complete resto, 2nd owner )
1984 F350 27' Coachman if fishing. ( 460/C-6,780 Holley,RV cam,Borla,Shift kit, kicks butt,8.5 mpg)
But, the 56 will be my daily when I finish it. I will sell the piece of S**t 98' since I don't need two pick-ups. Can't wait.

I drive an 1989 Ford F-250 4x4. It rides nice, but what a pig on gas. I've owned it 8 years now and I'm afraid to check the gas mileage, never have.

My daily is a 93 F250 4x4, it's a gasaholic and I can't support its habit anymore. Getting ready to trade it for an explorer or a cherokee. Can't wait till I get my F-1 gone then it will be my daily, rain or shine.
