Thumbs up Daily Drivers

Hi folks,
My family has only driven fords for the past 20 years.
Currently, I drive a 1995 F-150 4x4 with 30.5" tires (the stock ones look too puny).
My wife drives an E-350 Super Duty Extended van (11,000 GVW).

I love my '95 (this is the 3rd F-150 I've owned). I swear by that 5 star crash rating...

How many Fords (I see a lot of "other" vehicles out there!) have you folks owned?
Here's what I've owned over the past 20+ years (newest first)
2000 E-350
1995 F-150
1998 Windstar (fast for a minivan - got my first speeding ticket with this one!)
1995 F-150 4x4
1992 F-150 4x2
1965 Corvair Corsa Convertible (180hp turbo)
1968 Ford LTD (390 Marauder)
1970 Torino (429 CJ - owned for almost 18 years)
1967 Corvair 110
1970 Cougar (351W)
1970 Cougar XR7 (351W)

Man I miss my 429...

Spring is here, maybe I'll start looking...

My daily drivers are a 55 Ford Customline, 272 std/OD, and a 64 F-100, 292 std/OD. I alternate between the two. The 55 is one like I had when my wife and I married in 1960, and the 64 is my dad's truck, restored.

I also have a 53 and i was considering doing the "suicide door" trick.
However I dont know how brave I am. How difficult of a project was it?

My daily driver is a 1997 ford f-250, light duty(seven lug nuts), or a 1999 Mercury sable. That is until my 53 f-250, dually flatbed hits the road.
Although with gas prices the way they are, I wont be driving it much with a 460 under the hood.

right now my '60 F350 is my daily driver. After I finish painting my street/strip camaro, that car will be my driver again.

Isn't that breaking the rules to post pictures of a non-Ford in your gallery?

Seriously though, that's a nice looking daily driver.

Nah. That's just a picture of his sub frame donor.

I thought the same thing when I posted it. With it being a daily driver subject, it kinda opened it up to everything. Trust me, I'm a Ford man through and through. I was going to park my truck next to my wifes car which would of made it legal. She really wanted to post it and tried to make my wife happy LOL., I don't have a problem removing it if need be. LOL....

I won't knock you for owning such a cool car regardless of make. Besides, it is a wise man who keeps his wife happy.

Talking daily driver

I drive a 96 F150 302, 2wd with around 81k on the clock. I just had the tranny rebuilt, new front shocks, and ball joints. Now I have to drive it for another couple more years. I will replace it with a new 4wd F150 in a couple years, provided gas doesn't cost as much as our mortgage payment.
The bride has a 03 N----- P---f--d-r with heated leather seats all the candy except for the DVD player. I hope she likes it because she's gonna drive it for a LLLLooonnnngggg time. She wonders why we buy so much gas!!!!
I drive my F1 to work once a week and our 64 1/2 Mustang to work and to the beach for old car night. I bought a 53 F100 a couple years back and hope to get it on the road this spring. It has an original flattie, column shifted three speed.
It's a long winter here in N.Y. and I try and enjoy all of summer.

My daily driver is a 76 Highboy with a 390 and C6, gets about 10mpg around town. I want to get my new 57 F100 292 to run good enough to drive around while my 76 gets a C6 to NP435 swap.

I drive my 1960 F250 everyday, year round. Rides like a tank. Loads of fun! I wouldn't trade it for anything!
