ok guys.. i'm about tired of this truck my 82 f-150 351c is vibrating fiercly about 30mph.. the motor mounts are good and the tailmounts for the tranny are tight.. all the bellhousing bolts are in.. but it vibrates so hard its unbearable.. any suggestions??

 

Have you checked the driveshaft U Joints ?

 

Well, I had a clutch job done recently and when they balanced the flywheel, they took so much meat out of it the machinist couldn't believe it - it's the first one I've requested to be balanced-usually I just have em milled - but the vibration left after I pulled the clutch assy and ran it so I suspected the clutch or flywheel.... I'd had vibrations pretty bad for a while - and now - all gone!.... also, if it's not the u-joints, you might have a bent axle or bad axle bearing.... It'd have to be pretty bad to be unbearable, but those things are easiest to find.

 

FUNNY U MENTION THAT IT COULD BE THE REAR TIRES HAVE SHIFTED A BELT I KNOW IT SOUNDS FUNNY BUT ITS ACTUALLY HAPPENED
