Just how dumb can this be.............



has anyone watched the discovery channels show 'It Takes a Thief"?
to me it is just showing wannabe's how to break in a house and to find all the goodies, and i use to think that discovery had alittle more sense then to air something like this.

 

When I have done what I intend to to my house - it would take a thief way too long to get at anything important, and the alarms will not be accessable to turn off.

I can think of far too many ways to set up remote sensors.

 

A buddy of mine was just saying the same thing the other day. The Discovery Channel is getting to be just as bad as most of the rest of them.

 

I don't watch TV. I quit, when I realised that it was "DUMBING DOWN" everyone that watched it, or listened. MOLDING people to a common conception.

I refused to be brainwashed....


I DON'T NEED what they are selling, and the crud channels can go to hades and hunt after me - they ain't going to find me there. I have morals from the old days - what my Momma and Poppa taught to me. They still hold!

I look to the old days, and what we wanted to be over time. A better people, that work together. A people that made a nation great, and had gifts to give all around.

GO read the bill of rights, and the Declaration of Independance. WE the PEOPLE...

But somewhere in the meantime it seems like it was twisted and changed...

That law for all of us just don't matter, and you can gun down a man in the street.
Screw the law, just make up your own...

Well, the old laws still are on the books. FREEDOM has not CHANGED. And we all have responsibilities. Fair is a concept - GRANTED.

But the only way JUSTICE remains FAIR is if we make it so. People are people.
You don't just wash your hands and say: "Well, He (PICK ONE: BLACK, WHITE, RED, YELLOW, TAN) and so he guilty..."

Law is law, it stays the same. If it doesn't: There is no law where you live, because it is meant to be equal for everybody.

If you look really closely - you can see opinion forming happening in the media. They go with what sells air time.

Why is Memphis TN all tore up? Popular opinion.

Who runs it?

There is a lot of unemployment out there - I know I nearly filed for it, but I refused to give up! It isn't in me.

You can listen to the crap that is on the air, and go with everyone you know - OR BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, and try to be the best you can.

I noticed that when they go to retry the security system, they dont smash any windows, but they will on the first attempt.. whats with that.

and yes I agree, TLC and discovery channel are all about super remodeling and car/bike build ups.. what happend to the cool things like re creating dinosaurs and that stuff.

 

What ever happend to the open heart surgery at 2 am?

There was once a show on analog channels that starred Robert Wagner by the same name... He was some sort of super international thief, recruited by the CIA or something, to spot how theives could get in.

 

That cool GreyWolf,i had to re-read that again, there are some very good points , Me for the first time I will be e-mailing discovery to go back to their roots. I watch only a few channels as it is.

In April-October, if my BoSox are playing on ESPN I'll watch that.

 

My tv is for entertainment. I don't watch the crappy reality shows, just the previously mentioned cartoons, some racing shows, Mythbusters, and some sci-fi.

 

I could only wish for someone to come in to the house and try to break in. Very rarely is someone NOt around, I work midnights and am either up through the day or sleeping and my equalizer is at hand most of the time:
