Our '78 F-250 supercab, 400 cid, motorcraft 2 barrel will loose power when driving. You'll be going along and the truck will not respond to the accelerator pedal. If you shift to neutral the truck is barely running (idle) and when you try to give it gas it dies. We've replaced the fuel filters and fuel pump. The fuel pump cured it for a while but it's now doing it again. Any help is appreciated.
i would get some info on checking the float levels on you model carb. you maybe better off rebuilding it and adjusting it from scratch. also check the choke operation.
