fuel pump
Hello, I have an 87 e350 six cylinder injected one tank. Driving on the highway it started surging and loosing power. After pulling over for half hour it was okay. Replaced fuel filter but the problem returned after an hour of driving. Let the pump cool and it was okay to drive again. Does this sound like the pump is starting to go? Not sure how to drain the fuel in tank to check for rust etc. Should I replace both pumps? Anyone have better diagram than the haynes manual? Appreciate any help, Thank you.
