I already had the led blubs in and they worked great, also put them in my dodge dart with no problem, But someone stole my lense's off my truck and took the blubs out. If I can buy a set of these lights it will solve two problems for me.

I don't think the 73'-79' lens' will work in the 67'-72' housings, they're longer by about an inch and wider by a half an inch.

Tried it once with the factory lenses, because mine were cracked, and had no luck.

How similiar are the 67-72 Chevy/GMC tail-lights to the 67-72 Ford tail-lights? But if they're close in size and use the same type bulb, maybe this would work. http://www.earlyclassic.com/catalog.aspx

Of course you could modify it to work, might require rewiring for your bulb plug and trimming or something of the sort. They also have these for the 60-66 Chevy/GMCs.

I would also like to know what success you guys are having with this replacement. I bought the LED replacement bulbs to put them in my 69 and 70 trucks, they would only work when I turned on the emergency flasher, I think "beemer nut" is correct. I gave up on this, but now I may go back and research it, unless you have success.
Keep us posted on the results, please.

I had a set I bought from Autozone. I replaced the turn/brake lights and the backup lights. They were working great. If you couldn't see them you had to be blind, They were much brighter than the stock blubs. I did replace the pig-tails when I Changed the blubs out. for I would have a better connection.
