I've got this buzzing noise that seems to be coming from under the dash near the windshield. It starts when I hit around 65 MPH regardless of RPM's. I tried banging on and pulling on the dash with this going on with no noticable effect. Anyone seen anything like this ? I've got a 90 f150 302 4x4 with a super cab and automatic tranny.
Mine does that also, but its from my exhuast, if I put the clutch in the resonations stops...heh, price you pay to set off car alarms is how I personally feel.

If foreign matter is only moving into harm's way at highway speeds, due to wind pressure, that might be the cause. Try varying all your climate control settings and looking for a differnce.

This probably won't help, but I mention it b/c I finally discovered the source of an annoying, fairly "heavy" rattle near the P/S windshild. The sheetmetal on which the radio antenna is mounted was flipping up and down w/ the occilations of the antenna, as a 1/3" metal tab that normally holds the back side of sheet metal up to cowl height broke off. Just about drove me crazy.
