The Idle jet screws are currently only 3/4 of a turn out ( thats the ones on either side of the metering block on front of bowl. )
You have a dirty or bad needle and seat in the rear. Has to come out and be repaired or replaced(preferable and worth the expense) or the arm on the float is badly bent. Install needle and seat, reset the rear float level and readjust the idle mixture screws, should be about 1 1/2 turns out, 3/4's mean you are suppling fuel from elsewhere, the flooding from the rear bowl. You should be good to go then.

Ok I pulled it appart the jets are 65 and only 1 metering block. The rear float and needle and seat was stuck solid. I took appart and adjusted both I then put idle screws 1 1/2 turns out. I also cleaned the crap laying in the bowls. I put the carb back on and the car ran 100 times better. I did notice something that is probably not good. When I rev the motor white smoke or exhaust comes out the oil fill cap.. Any ideas on the bad news for that.. The car does run alot better thanks to everyone on the carb help....

Either water turning to steam or you oil is diluted from all that extra fuel spilling into the engine. If it continues you need to keep an eye on the oil for turning white as that indicates water in the oil. Check the PVC valve and make sure it is working properly.

The pvc valve rattles but I guess it could be shot.. I changed the oil 2 days ago due to it being real black and overfull, Just got car my first oil change. It was so dirty It was unbelievable also found it has a 15/16 drain plug, it looks like the bumber bolt I used on the frame to reinstall the bumper. Are they normally that big it seems a little overkill to me..LOL... I just went and checked the oil and it is now a good 3/4 " above the full line. When I changed it I had it right on full. I guess fuels back in it so I will try changing it tomarrow... Thanks ....

I just recently had to change a bad PVC that let major air in and it still rattle, but when I put my finger over it while the engine was running, rpm's dropped from 1800 to 700. The engine should slow down but not that much. Swapped it and it fixed the problem. For yours it will be just the opposite would be true, none or very little rpm drop, like 50 rpms.

Hmmm... A 3/4" rise is a pretty significant change.
If it were water, your oil would definitely be a light milky color.
I suspect that your fuel pump may be leaking also. If the outside of the fuel pump is covered with grime, the weep hole is pluged, next path for leaking fuel is the crankcase.
Peace of mind costs 30 min and a 50-cent gasket, unless the back of the pump is clean. Then it's time for a new pump.

Have fun, Mike
