Question Transcommand

Anyone ever install a Banks Transcommand. If so where is it located. I just bought an Excursion and it has a number of aftermarket goodies and it may have a Transcommand but I don't know where to look. Thanks

Banks instruction sheets reccommend mounting on the bottom rail or pinchweld on the passenger side of the truck body. I have mounted them on the outside of the frame on the passenger side where it would be best protected from road debris.

Thumbs up

Thanks. Does it work as advertised-especially the shift into overdrive?

My experience with Transcommand is generally good. You would not notice any change under no load light throttle driving but with heavy loads/heavy throttle the shifts are much firmer.

Thanks. I'm hoping it will firm up the shifts and frequent shifting in and out of OD in light load , low speed situations. Lee
