Mirror whistles
Just changed the tow mirror's for the paddle type. There is a whistle that is coming from the driver's side around the hinged part (where you can fold the mirror in). You can only hear it when window is down and it is just getting nice out!! Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

Yes, I have the same problem, but you won't like my solution. When it is bothering me I roll up the window. Sorry for the smart answer but, hopefully it will get the thread going.

Dont know if it will keep the thread going but I dont have this problem with my tow mirrors. My dad has them on his super duty and I have not heard it with his either.
I can offer another solution to the whistle noise that doesnt involve rolling the window up, turn the radio up. I couldnt help it, saw that commercial on tv yesterday.

I have the same problem right now. When I changed my doggy ears mirrors to the trailer tow mirrors without the side markers and blinkers, it was quite, but when upgraded to the trailer tow mirrors with side markers and blinkers, I get a little whistle from the driver side. I belive the problem is that the factory insulator is a little off or it needs a little more tighting on the bolts. Or take it off and install some foam
