Kevint. Yeah, I saw the picture of your truck. Very nice. I liked the old style 8 hole (spoke) ralleys. I picked up a set of 8" ones off a '90 XLT and mounted them with the new tires. It's weird how your factory rims make the tires rub and my set doesn't. I wonder if it is because my truck is 4X4?

OR, if you want REALLY wide tires, you can go with 295-50-15's on 15x10 rims. The tires will be about 12.5" wide and about the same height as a 275-60-15. Air those sickers down, and i'll bet you can't get them to break loose
Jamden: Wait a sec, you're running LT's as in michelin LT's? That would explain it, they dont have as deep a tread depth as the BFG A/T KO's do. I saw some cool tires today, ##### Cepic 31x12.5R15's, big and wide!
I use 31X10.5X15 tires on the stock 95 aluminum 8 inch rims (the ones with the 1 inch holes in it) and don't have any rubbing problems. Have been for 100,000 miles, on my second set now. I ditched the stock Goodyear tires at 30,000 (p235 75r15) because they didn't work well in the rain or mud.
31x10.5x15 BFG A/T KO's on stock 15/8 rims (1" hole-type). No rubbing problems anywhere including the radius arms. Actually, I once had a rubbing problem because I got rear-ended, pushing me into the rear of another truck, ultimately pushing my front bumper into my tires. Replaced the bumper and back to no rubbing.
Backspacing changes everything. Same thing with my Geolandars on stock rims, got some cheap chromies with less backspacing a week after I got them and viola! no more rubbing, even at full lock.

Guys, I found this site while looking for different looks of wheels. My truck is stock ride height and my rims that I will be using are 15x8's with stock backspacing, etc. It seems that after weeks of researching, I may have found my answer. Does this information sound right. You guys that have 4x4's, can you relate to the information on this site ??? Let me know what you think. Thanks for all of the information so far.
