I liked the Toyo Open Country A/Ts that I put on my Ranger. They worked really well in the snow. I didn't use them off road, so I can't comment on that aspect. The tread on the Toyo is more aggressive than the Michelin but I have no way to compare the two in terms of actual performance. Michelin makes good stuff. I don't think you could go wrong with the Michelin tires.
Read tons of reviews on the rack. Great toilet reading.
BFG rugged terrains and Toyo h/t open countries are on the short list.
I don't go off-road very often.
Want a great, long lasting, rain/dry year round tire.
Occasionally tow.
Wouldn't mind an aggressive and cool looking tire either.
Nexen? Anyone run these?
Would love an "ultimate tire and wheel fittment" thread.
Would like to know stock wheel size/bolt measurement/rim swappable guide being I'm sure this question pops up a lot.
Are ranger rims a direct fit?
Would save time to have it all on one page for the explorer owners.
