I have an 05 lariat and really like the interior. I think new dash for 05 helped out the looks. The new dash for the 07 is killer. Very aggressive looking. No thanks to the genuine GM JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ducster, It looks great! I would think you probaly don't have kids though. I don't know if that would hold up to their abuse. What did you use? Any cracking when putting the trim back into place?

All of the dark grey is to be painted red.
As for abuse, I am very confident it will hold up.
It looks much better in person!

2005 super duty reg cab v10 4x4 I purchased I dash cover kit from www.wooddashexperts.com phone 1 800 505 3274 and I think it looks good and good quality product. People on this web site had this company posted. If you look in Cabelas this looks like the same product that they sell but at a higher price. Look on this site and see what they have and I am happy with mine.

I love the dash on my 2005 XLT. It's functional too with bins etc. Ive seen the GMs and I'd just have to cover theirs up with carpet or something. Depends on what you like I guess. Personally I hope they don't make the new superduty like the new f-150 or GMs. They aren't rugged looking like mine!!

My 04 xlt superduty has the black interior... with the carbon fiber inserts on the door panels.. I plan on buying the carbon fiber molded cluster surround for the cluster/radio/heater assembly ...
Other that the stupid stickers on the visors... I love my interior... The dash is simple and yet rugged looking.... Screams..... Truck....

Ducster - can't blame you for painting it. My tastes dictate that plastic fake wood does not belong in my truck. What others do with theirs is a matter of preference.
