hey scotty are you working with the old axles out of blackass? (the truck i sold to ivan) cause i'm pretty sure it was a high pinion w/ discs. thats what my keeper truck is, but then again i only owned blackass for a month didn't look at the axles too hard.

Yeah, that's the truck. I'm pretty sure it's not a high pinion, but this is the first time i've ever compared d44's anyways. The black one's got the pinion at almost the exact center, and ol' blue's got it at the very top. Yeah, i think the plan now is (after i get it on the road) to swap everything inside of the knuckles.

Hey, you dont know much about that truck, do you? The 9" tag says it's 3.50's, which is what i have in my other truck, but you wouldnt know if it's a LS, wouldja? (I know, wishful thinking) There's some stuff on the tag that i dont know what it stands for, so jus wondering. lol guess we should work out registering it sometime

Scooter, talked to the licensing department today and we can swap it straight to you. I just need to give you a bill of sale. If we can't meet up this week we'll do it first thing next week and I'll get that title to you. $24 transfer fee.

Check to see if the ball joints for the 74 and the 76 are the same if they are then you can just do a whole out end swap and have the disc brakes

if it was i'd probably have kept it, but it didn't seem like it or it was pretty warn out.

as far as the title goes i've transfered everything on my end to ivan, i'd don't know if he's done his part. but he has it.

Scooter..on the axle tag, there would be an L between the 3 and the 5 if it had a stock LS in it. 3 50 or 3L50 on the tag
