If it's a 3 speed O/D, it's a Warner trans. The case has markings such as "8W3AS" . the first number will tell the year. 8= 68. The stuff on the tail shaft doesn't help in identifying this unit.

Trucks of your vintage would have a 3 speed with an OD attached to the tail.
The tranny you have may be a 4 speed OD from the '80s. Look here and see if it matches:
