auto shift improvement

Will the superchips tuner improve the crispness of the auto shift as good as a spring upgrade in the valvebody?

Suposedly B&M or TransGo, I think it's B&M though, makes a shift improver for these, but I haven't found anyone that carries them.

Been to busy to chase it down.

I put a SCT in my Explorer and the shift was greatly inproved and my mpg went up to.

It will be close, but usually not as firm as a shift kit. A shift kit doesn't have the benefit of part throttle changes --- it firms all the time.
