I guess I'm really after some information on what anyone thinks is a good performance shift-enhancing kit on the market.
JET has an electronic plug-in like the B&N I mentioned above, but it is $115 and requires a transmission-installed kit as well, which is $61. Seems like quite a price difference, but I assume there is a reason for this.
Any information/experience appreciated. What do you recommend?
The plugin kits simply boost the fluid pressure in the transmissions, thereby making a firmer shift, the actual shift kits that require you to change out a couple parts in the lower part of the transmission itself work a lot differently and IMO work better and would be better in the long run for the tranny, but the electronic ones do help in one way, dropping temp of the tranny.
Anyone have the B&M kit installed for a while now? I was thinking about one for my F350. I wonder if it causes any problems over the life of the trans.
