Valve body bolt torque is 95-105 inch lbs. Pan bolt torque 100 in lbs.

Man this is the worst weekend for my Bronco ever. Been haveing trouble out of my 1yr+ rebuild.(btw out of warranty) Hard shifts are the thing. Took it back to the transmission guy and he said my tps was bad. So I replaced it. No go trans still shifting like a pro-stocker. Well then I befreind a Ford transmission guy at the dealership. He scans my computer for free(really great guy ). The computer kicks back a bad soleniond pack code. I replace that. Well I just got thru doing the 30min drive and its still shifting with a bucking going into 3rd(under load pedal at half travel) I have no idea what could be causing this. I think I adjusted the tps correctly but the post here arent to clear for me ot just arent dumbed down enough for me. Iam really bumed out cause feal like I got burned for $1900 rebuild thats taking a dump on me. Anybody else got any sugestions before I start eating ramen noddles for 3 months to save for another tranny rebuild?

Maybe you don't need a new torque wrench if your fl lb wrench reads low enough. 100 inch lb is 8.3 ft lb. Just divide in lb by 12 to get ft lb.

-** I had same issue if your tps is good unplug your speed sensor and then drive it the speed sensor is located on the transfercase if that solves your problem then replace the sensor and odemeter gear then have you computer reset or just unplug batter for 15 min and plug it back up the shifting issues should be fixed

This thread is almost 10 years old. I imagine it has been repaired by this time.
