Question Different Sized Spare?

Stupid Question....

My current spare tire is more bannana peel than tire. I have LT235/85R16s on my 86 F-250 4x4. I have an extra tire, a P255/65R16 in the shed, can I use it as a spare?

Yeah,it'll work. But don't use while in 4 wd.I have people ask me all the time to find them a full size rim/tire for a spare (to eliminate the doughnut) and I always ask "when was the last time you used it", 99 % of the time the answer is "never".So if your current spare is holding air,it'll get you off the road.Just my $.02

Also do not use this tire in the rear. It is almost 3" different in diameter. Good way to screw up the diff, especially if you have LS.
