Knock
Has anybody put on a regulated fuel return, and still have a knock. Ive done the in tank and pre pump mods, reg. return, H/X line. Engine is not as loud as it once was, but you can hear the knock now. The only thing I quess, is that since the engine dont make all the noise it did, the knock is more noticable. Could this be why it is suggested to replace the LL8 with a AD injector?

I apologize for not having an answer to your question, but I am interested in the responses as my engine makes a noise also. I can't decide if it is a knock and/or injector noise. So, I am anxious to hear what others have to say as I am sure you are as well.

I had the dealer replace the injector with the long lead injector(LL8) and my knock is completely fixed. It used to knock something awful getting off of the freeway, at idle but now nothing but the sweet purrr. Everyone has an opinion on this knock problem, just wait for all the responses.
