Any of you guys know of any probelms these bronco's have? my old man looked at one and he said the thing sways a bit when drivin? any one what this is? and would the parts from it fit on my 82 f150?
i dont know i havn't seen it yet my old man was the only one that took it for a ride and he said the guy told him that he replaced the upper and lower ball joints in it and i guess it has bigger tires on her. also he said there is a whistle from the engine bay. The guy told him it was a broken vaccum line that he cant find??? sound right??
could be a broken vac line but sounds more like a bad gasket around the TB, with the drifting it could be any number of things or a combination of things, you need to get in there and check things out, to name a few, tire pressure, tie-rod ends, loose steering components, bearings, ball joints, bushings, etc..etc..
Alright I'm possibly get it this weekend so ill let u all know about it. It also has a 300 I6 if i forgot to mention that also a 3 spd with OD tranny and manual hubs... ok im a bit lost "the TB"???? might be a stpuid question but yea? Timin Belt? Also the back window doesn't go up be itself u have to get into the back and put it up. Where can i find this replacment part??

well went and i got the thing now. wow what a freakin tank i love it lol. It's a carb and they guy that came withme that looked at the engine, he owns his own g-rad, took one look at it and looked around it and goes there's no way in hell this engine has 160,000 miles on it. then engine is extremly clean and it's strong as hell.
Thats the 300 for you...can't kill the lil' things! If it still wanders as you drive, check axle pivot, radius arm, and front sway bar (if it has one) bushings.
Can't beat the I-6 for milage, I have a 94 F-150 with the 300 in it and it just flipped over to 280,000 yesterday. Doesn't burn any oil yet either. Gas milage ain't what it used to be, but what the hell it runs strong and starts everyday with out fail.

O.O wow what do u do for a livin thats alot of miles. lol
It doesn't seem to shimmy anymore the guy said it was doin it becaue he had the hubs locked in??
lol o yea forgot to mention when the guy looked at the engine to me he noticed a few things lol the guy had to take the top end apart for some gaskets and never put all the bolts back in for the intake and exhaust and even left a socket on the one bolt... morons lol luckly i have another bad 300 here with all the bolts to it, plus he never put the air cleaner on it so who knows for how long it's been runnin with no cleaner on it. When i get it here to the house im gonna get some carb cleaner and maybe some seafoam stuff and clean the engine out. O and when i went to start it it was hard to start but then it started like nothing was wrong. i turned it off once and went to start it up again like 5 secs later and it sounded like the battery was dead u know like the engine tunred slowly but it fired up tho???? what could cause this

I used to be a service rep for a major window company and we serviced a tri-state area. I bought the truck brand new and was out of warranty in 1 year. I did that until 2001. Now I live in Arizona and I live in the desert about 40 miles out of town, so its quite a commute back and forth. The miles keep racking up, I figure when it hits 500,000 I'll take a picture of the odometer and send it to Ford.
