just got a 72 ltd with 69,000 and a 429 for 600$ good deal? did a little research on the site i have the dove-c heads and 4 barrel and big spark plugs<friend told me they were good>. so any tips on gas mileage with motor?
and anyone happen to know what kind of power it has? Thank you for your comments.

72 isnt the high compression engine. I'll look it up, it is a keeper though at $600 if it runs well.

I believe that Ken's 1971 stated that he had the D0ve heads, which would be 1970. Not 1972. Someone must have done an engine swap and put in the older high compression heads. If it is a 1970 D0ve block, the deck height would be lower too, which would further raise the compression.
