I know a lot of people are using the 6637 filter, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a smaller filter (outside diameter and length). Still want the 4" outlet. I want to replace the K&N cone filter in my FIPK, but the 6637 won't fit. Thanks for any help.
do you have the stock rubber hose?? stick it on there and make on of these, flows alot better than K&N FIPK.....IMO... 6637, Sch. 40 PVC 45* w/ flanges cut off, and a 4" pipe coupling is all you need... good luck!!
Really want to keep the FIPK, that's why I'm looking for a smaller filter. I'm also in the process of designing a cold air intake set-up for each type of PSD setup and the smaller filter would be a lot easier to work with.
You guys aren't helping any, lol. Just kidding, try using a 4" exhaust 45 degee fitting from a big truck parts house. We have done several like that and they really work well. Still looking for a filter though...
