Well, after waiting for 3 weeks for my part to arrive, I finally got my trans crossmember, and my under the floor brake booster. Installation was a snap, and everything is going smoothly. I would upload the pics to my gallery, but I STILL cant upload pics (new browser and all).
where did you get yor kit?I got mine from sacramento ford.did you use your stock pedal?I have to get a stock crossmember so I can mount mine.I'm using mustang 2 booster and master cylinder.Looking for someone thats done this install for tips.yours looks good. THANKS ART
I got my the mount, booster, master cylinder, new pedal, proportioning valve, and both front and back residual pressure check valves (the whole kit minus lines) for $340 at my door, and everything is very quality. TCI unit, and MPB valves. I got them from a guy by the ebay name of fatrodder. I called, and the guy was super friendly, told me what I needed, and put a price together for me. Was at my door in 5 days.
Im very happy with the quality of the items I ordered, and will be using him again. Everything fit just like it was supposed to- yippee! Heres the # in case youre interested.
( midfifty screwed up my order, and the x-member was never sent, so after a couple of calls to them, they had No Limit send me my x-member. Tubular, and offset to the passenger side 1-2") THATS what took 3 weeks.

Im going to cut another view plate in the floor. I dont yet have a welder, and there are a bunch of holes that need to be filled in the floor, and firewall anyway.
Rich.
P.S. You should have seen me installing this thing and taking pictures without the truck jacked up. Good thing Im slim. Twenty more pounds on me and it woulda been impossible.

55forder, I have my master cyl. in the same place, and I am able to check levels and add fluid from under the truck. I didn,t want to have a hole in the floor for noise and moisture to enter, I was going to put remote fill cylinder in, with reservoir under the hood . I decided it cost too much, after seeing how easy it was to do from underneath the truck.

Ed, my trucks at the paint shop so I can,t measure. I remember that if I used the 12 oz. or smaller bottle of brake fluid it wasn,t a problem to pour in, although I did have to do it a little at a time so I could check fluid level with homemade dipstick.(popsiclestick)Wayne

Food for thought. Ill do the same thing. My truck is pretty low right now though.
One day hopefully Ill be at knee level on a barbie
knee high to a barbie sounds about right.
I definitley have to jack the truck up to check fluid, I figured I could work it out to inspect everything else while I am under there every once in awhile.

Rich,
instead of cutting a hole in the floor, why not glue a piece of mirror to the underside of your cab.
Thats what i did with my 46 sedan , and i'll be doing the same with my 53 effy
Scott.
If anyone is interested I have the same trans crossmember for sale. With the volare offset. I went with a mustang II and now I don't need it. Email me if you want it, its just setting in the garage.
