I found a site that lets me post a more stylish classified ads forum,Bravenet.com, complete with the ability to search ads, post links to pictures, individuals can edit their ads, mark them sold or set the duration they want them to run.Its all free, but the downside is pop-ups which I suppose could be handled with a pop-up stopper. It also has the ability to upgrade later so that there could be different sections such as For sale or wanted or truck parts ,car parts etc.If I am going to switch formats I want to do it now before I have many ads. What are your thoughts? Yes it looks a bit more friendly to use. Later improvements will be to catogorise items. I will later try and put an ad in. See how it works. Just doing a quick scan of the Fte before shuting down for night.
Yes this site is very friendly to put in ads. Put in 4 already and not much to it. Will use again.
Have other stuff that I can sell that is not ford related. I deal a bit with mopar cars.
Do you have any late 60's early 70's big block stuff? My friend is into fixing these up.
The neighbor of mine has a 73 montego wagon with a 400 in it. Suspose to be running. Not sure this what you are looking for. What are you needing, 390, 428 429,460's
There is suspose to be someone out your way by Vonda that is suspose to have a bunch of Ford cars from the 60's and 70's with motors still in them. I don't have a name. He has a daughter married to a fella at where I work.
I will check on what else my neighbor has for larger engines. Most cars he has there do not have the motors in them, but I will check when things dry up some here.
Yeah, please let me know who the person is in Vonda. I have a friend that is doing work on several big block mopars and he's always looking for stuff. Another friend and I are after any Pontiac/Chevy/Ford/Mopar big block stuff. My personal favorites are big block Firebirds/Formulas and Trans Ams. I am always looking for these!

Right now a friend of mine is looking for a 69-70 fastback Mustang - preferably a big blick but a 351 would even do for a total restoration. I like to find big block cars wherever they may be but usually not the big luxury cars.
Cars like that are getting tuff to find but we like to look for them any ways. I know of a very nice 67 Fairlane GT with a 4 speed that has been in storage for years but have never been able to get a price from the owner. Last year I bought back my 67 Mustang F/B (390) after realizing the mistake of selling it!
Lorado I checked my neighbor. He has a 390 sitting in a truck box. The heads are off. so it is most likely seized. I don't know what he would want. He wants to clean his place up so he can sell it in the next year or so. His health is the reason. He's got a great set up. Quonset building and a smaller work shop.
Has almost 70 vehicles to clear out. They are in various states of dismantling. Some with motors, most not. Majority is GM cars. I'm Just trying to help him out.
In trucks not much. He has a good truck box from the 60's A merc. box that is a stepside, you know with the wheelwells sticking out. 2 76 ford trucks, one is pretty gutted now he sold thw whole front half, all that is left is the box which is rusted, the suspension and c6 tranny still hooked up the the driveshaft. The other is the one that has a 390 block in the box. The box is also rusty and the front clip is damaged from an accident, it goes to one side. I want to get the solid rear window(not a slider)
He has a 53-56 back half of a paneled truck. Been using it for storing stuff in. It has no doors. This is where it is cut in half. It is just a shell with good metal. Make a neat trailer to follow behind a panel that is restored.
He has an endgate from a mid fifties truck in good shape laying there also. I think he wants $100 for it. It is not cut up and looked straight.
The rest is cars. He had a 66 merc truck cab which I bought for my 1 ton.
Here is a list of cars, Start with new to old.
74-75 mavericks 4drs 75 is rusted.
73 Merc Montego wagon. 400 eng. did run when parked
71 ltd 4dr
71 Pinto
70 Galaxie XL 2dr Partscar
69 Marquis 2dr. Parts car. good seats still in car and windshield, no front clip or engine, back 1/4's shot.
66 Ford 4dr
65 Comet Caliente 4dr (rough)
64 Meteor 4dr
64 Ford Wagon Galaxie (possibly sold)
63 Fairlane 500 Wgn.
62 Ford 4dr
Thats it for Fords. Most of these have no motors in them anymore.
So if any of you are looking for parts cars he will let them go cheap.
